August NPD: Nintendo Wins Again

The NPD Group has released the hardware and software sales charts for August and once again, Nintendo has came out on top. Total Wii and DS hardware sales surpassed that of the PlayStation 3, PS2, and PSP combined.

Microsoft's Xbox 360 outsold the PS3 by more than 2:1. Software sales weren't too shabby either, with the sales monster that is Madden NFL 08 pushing 896.6K units, even more than the PS2 version.

I Don't get it. Metroid Prime 3 is my first game i will buy after zelda on my wii. For a real gamer wii is not really a good console. I have PS3 and i use it much more often than wii. Only when my friends are @ my place (mostly girls though) we play wii because girls like it and its so easy to do. :)
 
And Reggie, yet again, looks like he's gonna shank somebody.XD

Lookin' at that guy just creeps me out, especially in that picture- He's the type that I actually WOULD cross the street so I wouldn't walk past him...
 
XD, that's awesome. Anyway... *tries to steer the topic back on course* I just bought myself a Wii.:biggrin: But I'm too lazy to hook it up.:sad:
