Older PSP question

I have a quick question about the older PSPs. I bought my PSP when it came with firmware v1.51 (those were the good old days... a simpler time when a man had to squeeze his own lemonade rather then buy it from the local wal-mart). So I was wondering if it is possible that the hardware or software in it might be to old to support a newer 4GB memory stick? I doubt it but I thought it could be one possibility as to why it is not working with my PSP.

Thanks.

Nope, 4GB sticks are compatible with any PSP as well as any firmware.

Maybe it is an issue with the stick itself?

Or if you're running v1.50, doesn't that not detect 4GB sticks?

Ok, just makeing sure. I'm running 3.51M33 gonna upgrade as soon as/if 3.71 comes out. Damn those leakers.
