New error and problem

Okay here continuing problem. I have fixed system.dreg problem, however I am still climing the hill... Not much hair left, I have been pulling all out the last 24 hours...

PSP=PHAT TA-079

Okay 2 problems, first is I cannot install any OFW or CFW 3.80. I receive an error
(CTA8000025).

Second problem is I still cannot get my UMD Drive to read. I keep getting an error, "Disc Cannot Be Read"

The UMD Drive is not bad... It was working perfect until I screwed things up.

I think I have another problem. I believe there was a restored NAND Dump of a TA-82 restored onto a TA-079 mobo. It is working accept for these 2 errors...

Can anyone please provide me with some info where I can get a complete NAND backup from a TA-079 mobo!

A Big Huge Thank you for any one who can help.

If that's the case, then there is no way to recover, unless you have an original NAND backup of your PSP. Using a complete NAND dump from another PSP will prevent your UMD drive from working... other things like WiFi probably won't work either.

Actually WIFI and everything else is working fine.

I can upgade all CFW's that do not run from that sony interface. Example I can run and install all the way up to M33 3.71-4 just cannot install any OFW or the new M33 3.80 as the sony interface is used for installation. It appears that the problem must be from some kind of sony check. I have successfully installed 2.71SE, 3.40 OE, M33 3.51, and M33 3.71.

I have tested all options, the only thing not working is the UMD drive. I guess I am pretty lucky.

Also, I have just found out that it is actually a TA-081, not a 79. I think it has a TA-082 NAND wrote to it. I get this info from chilly willy's key cleaner claims it is a TA-082, but Corey's NAND Tool displays as a TA-081.

To wrap things up, I still have a CTA error and no UMD. Does anyone have anymore suggestions? Should I try to get a NAND dump from another TA-081? If I do find a TA-081 NAND, should I do a complete write, or without IDStorage?

I've done some research. The CTA8000025 error is due to your IDStorage region key being corrupted. Unfortunately there's no way to restore it, unless you have a backup from your PSP. You'll have to wait until D_A releases Despertar del Cementerio v4, so you can install 3.80 M33 onto your magic memory stick.

How exactly did the UMD drive stop working all of a sudden? In your post you mention it was working before.

This may sound like BS, but UMD was working perfect. I downloaded M33-3.80 and installed perfect. I tried to run an ISO and it did not work. I started to panic (not thinking the UMD mode was back to default and needed to be changed) and decied to downgrade back to M33-3.71 via DC3.

Here is the strange thing, UMD auto start was defaulted "on" and actually statred the UMD that was in the drive when all of a sudden (during the XMB UMD preview) the BSOD appeared. After that I could not recover, even with DC3.

All I had as a NAND was from another PHAT. I had very little understanding of the NAND prior to this event (the "Dangerous" remark kept me away). Desperate I used a NAND Dump from another PHAT (TA-082). I had read somewhere beofre the phat was not as picky as the slim and another NAND could be used. I had a misunderstanding or some old information.

Anyway, in a panic (the PSP is not mine) I screwed up. I have learned always, no matter what (slim ot Phat) maked a NAND backup.
