SEGA today released details on Aliens: Colonial Marines, Gearbox Software's upcoming first-person shooter for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Driven by a original story penned by renowned writers Bradley Thompson and David Weddle, players take on the role of a United States Colonial Marine in the fight against an ongoing alien assault.
Featuring a story driven single-player mode and four player co-op within a squad-based combat system, the game will include classic Aliens weaponry ranging from pulse rifles to deadly flamethrowers. Specific details on each of the multiplayer modes are planned to be announced at a later date.
