I am thinking to Buy a new PSP Slim but before that i got few questions regarding it.
How am i suppose to Downgrade a PSP slim without a Pandora battery.
Heard their an alternative way for doing it like upgrading the official firmware to 3.71 M33 ( i watched some videos on Youtube:blushing:)

So is my assumption right or wrong.

PS:I am really confused which one to go for Fat or Slim.:confused1: any advise would me much appreciated.

And thankx for reading this and for your views.

The only way to downgrade a PSP Slim is to use/make a pandora's battery and a magic memory stick. The alternative you heard does not work without first being on a custom firmware (which is impossible for the PSP Slim without using Pandora).

You can buy a PSP Phat, although you'd have to use Pandora to downgrade that as well unless it is 3.50 firmware or below (if it is that, then you'll be able to downgrade it to a lower firmware via an unpatched version of Lumines..although that is hard to come across.

Your best bet would be to buy a PSP Slim, buy a datel tool battery online (basically a Pandora battery) and create a magic memory stick (distribution of the files needed on the memory stick is illegal, so you'll have to find someone with a "hacked" PSP)

Yah.. for what Frozenlpaq said, you should buy a PSP Slim, buy a Datel Battery and another memory stick because the 32Mb one just wont cut it out for the Magic Memory stick. Then you'll need to HardMod the Datel Battery, so goodluck on that...

Hardmodding is basically making the Pandora Battery without the need of a PSP/CFW. BUT there's a slight chance it can explode... overheat... or fry the battery ^-^;;, if I can do it, you can do it too.

I'll give you a YouTube link.
Here's a video of a slim battery being hardmodded (Don't hardmod your slim battery!)

WHERE TO CUT/SOLDER

Good luck if you choose to HardMod =) But the safer way is to make a Pandora from a friend that has custom firmware.
