Slow PSX emulation

Heya!

I just got my 2.71 downgraded and then re-upgraded to Dark_Alex's 3.10.

I'm running an EBOOT.PBP of Parappa the Rapper, and for some reason I'm getting choppy sound and video. (It's the PSX version.)

Unfortunately, Parappa's one of the games where the sound really matters. Is there something I might be doing wrong? My ISO of Valkyrie Profile Lenneth works great, as does Super Robot Taisen... so I'm confused as to why this would be going slowly.

Also, I'm using a 2gig stick, Sony brand... so I don't think the memory stick is related, or at least I hope not.

not a problem on your end its just that its an emulator, and not all games can be expected to run full speed. You can try using different pops versions with popsloader.

One thing I've had trouble finding out, what is and where is popsloader?

It lets you load previous PS1 emulator versions (say from 3.00, 3.03 etc).

some games actually work better in the older versions

Pops is ps1 emulator its under like MP_ROOT or MS_ROOT something like that, on your mem stick bro.
