Despertar del Confusion

I just got a Fat PSP and am itching to get some homebrew running on it. While I'm waiting on my pandora battery. I have been researching how to load different firmwares onto the system, I've been reading the guide for DDCv6, but I'm unclear on a couple things.

1 - After extracting the msipl.bin files, and kd and registry folders from the PBP, I use mspformat to format the memory stick, and use msinst to write the msipl.bin file to the memory stick. Is this step still neccessary? I read in the guide at the top

"DC iplloader doesn't require to mspformat the memory stick. However, in some memory stick it may still be necessary.
Just run the program and if you find an error at 99%, run mspformat and try again."

2 - What OFW files do I NEED to have residing on my root, the guide only mentions 401.PBP, but the other guides mention 150,340, and 380 as well.

3 - When downloading DDCv6, does the RAR file come with the 4.01M33 CFW? Or do I need to download it and place it in the UPDATE folder within GAME?

I've searched and searched and seem unable to find answers to these burning questions, thanks in advance! :w00t::w00t:

1. Just do it, it'll tell you if it's unneccessary.

2. You only need 401.PBP. The 150.PBP and 340.PBP is for the previous version of Despertar del Cementerio, which is now not needed.

3. It comes with the 4.01 M33. All you need to do is place the DC7 folder in the GAME folder, and place 401.PBP in the root of your Memory Stick.

Thanks! Believe it or not that simple post answered questions, burning questions that have been cooking my brain. Google has been a cruel mistress to me in finding out information on this stuff.

No prob! Glad to help! :)
