Will it work? I'm just wondering because I want to use it to cheat in my PSX games, because I'm having a really tough time getting past this one part.

its made for 3.10 OE but should work fine in 3.03 as well.

Okay, so, would you be willing to tell me as to how to get them going?
Because I've put CWCheat on my psp, and I've put in a custom database for the PSX games, they load, I've made sure that the CWCheatpops.prx plugin is enabled. For Silent Hill, (I think) I have enabled the infinate ammo cheat, but I don't think I did it properly, becaue when I fired 2 rounds in the game, they were gone, it didn't freeze the number of rounds I have...

have you tried any other cheats?

in the cheatspops.db, make sure the _S SLUS_XXXXX field matches up with your ISO

Yes, they match my game's ID, but my PSX games are in eboot.pbp format. Perhaps that is the reason why CWCheat isn't working?

The PSX Eboots are also in ms:/PSP/Game/%Folder named after game%/

Perhaps, should I try renaming ms:/PSP/Game/%Folder named after game%/ to ms:/PSP/Game/%Game ID%/ ?

No, I didn't try any other cheats, but I will try some now.

the playstation games are meant to be in eboot.pbp format so its not that.

I just tried some Frogger cheats, infinate time and infinate lives. And I had the folder named after the game's ID. And it still hasn't worked.

Update: I noticed that I had the POPS cheat plugin disabled, so I enabled it and tried again, and it still didn't work.

Are you sure its enabled under POPS mode? (theres 3 different modes pops - vsh - game)

also it doesn't matter what the folder is named. only the GameID written inside of the iso must match the one in your popscheatdb.

I'm certain that it's under POPS mode. You stated that there are 3 modes, "POPS" "VSH" and "GAME". But, in Recovery mode, I only see "POPS" and "GAME". Is there supposed to be another one that I don't have?

Update: I managed to access CWCheat's menu while in Silent Hill.

Update2: Low and behold!! Cheats are active and working!! YaY!!!~ Thanks guys for your help!! :D:D
