Is there anyway to get the PSP back to home menu with HOME button?

I'm stuck on an emulator (RIN_v1_32) gbemu, anyway or how to get off that without HOME button cuz I think I'm screwed. Dumb Sony with their HOME button instead of just being able to shut off power and reset like that.

If you hold down the power switch, it should turn off and when you turn it back on, you should be at home....OR you can just leave it on and try to kill the batt and see what happens.

I pressed L+R while in sleep then turned it on while holding them and it went to this blue screen I saw exit and went back to HOME menu then when it froze just unplugged battery.
