Does anyone know the correct way of installing roms into the Emulators to play via Patapon 2 HBL. When I boot up the HBL, I can see my Emulators, but when I click one to play it, it exits me out to the XMB. Any help?

Moved to correct section. Chances are, the emulator you are trying to run utilizes kernel mode functions. With HBL you are limited to user-mode homebrew only.
Try the usermode version of NesterJ to test. It's located in the "2.0+" folder from the download below:
