360 xbox help

hey guys i am confused in buying between ps3 and xbox 360

some questions

1.the new xbox elite black one will i be able to play backups on it without doing any thing

2.why we have to flash the drive of the xbox

3.are all xbox dvd drives are flashable

4.does all xbox models on the market plays backups

5.does ps3 80gb version will have YLoD ever this one--ps3 80gb

6.and is this true about ps3 --check it out

7.and whats the use of this --Hombrewed PS3 System File Editor

8.will i be able to play ps3 games using my pc mouse and keyboard for eg gta 4

1. You have to mod the console in order to play backups
2. To allow it to play downloaded games
3. Yes, except a new wave of lite-on drives are unflashable at the moment. These are from xboxs made in August 2009
4. All models yes, but not all drives.

Once you mod your xbox, you risking of getting banned from LIVE but it does not hurt to have a spare 360.



But if you live in sticks (like me) with no xbox live then play away

5 - Very few PS3's YLOD.

6 - lol. fake as fake can be.

7 - No practical use you can get it.

8 - Never tried it. Controller is best.

Nope.

but you can use the keyboard to send messages on xbox and I think PS3 as well.

8 - Only very few games support Mouse and Keyboard. Unreal Tournament 3 is the only one I know of for sure that allows it. GTA4 definitely does not support it
