HELP PLS.. Unable to load ChickHEN R2, error message "System memory is low"

I am using a PSP2000 V3mobo, it has OFW 5.03, what I've done so far is..
download the ChickHEN files
copied the slim photo to the PSP:\Pictures and the h.bin to the root directory
going to the XMB, here is the prob...
everytime I tried to load the ChickHEN, some times it crashes. Sometimes the pics loads up to the TIFF, but it does not boot up to the HEN. It only shows a distorted picture and nothing happens.. :mad1::mad1::mad1:, I tried to open the image but it only say "system memory is low" I've tried to do system restore, disable UMD, and even reformat the memory stick but still the same prob.. what seems to be the prob? PLS... Help me..

Have you tried one of the installer packs, that have some pics with them? Diff pics i am told give diff results.

h.bin goes to the root of the ms, not the root of photo or picture.

try this:

place the slim folder pics inside PICTURE

then place h.bin at the root of the memory stick (where PICTURE, VIDEO, PSP is)

go to the XMB click the camera icon, wait for the error then view the files.

thats how i get it to work on my slim :)

yup, h.bin is in the directory, i've tried what you say and... everytime I view the pictures, PSP crashes..
And sometimes it shows the pictures (does not crash) but nothing happens, it does not boot to HEN, I still get the "system memory is low" when i try to open the slim TIFF file.. I have tried it for the whole day but still the same prob..

well you dont open the slim.tiff file, you gotta just press X at the photo menu at wait for the crash and boot into the HEN, you have to find your own way into getting the files to work, have you tried putting the pictures in PSP/PHOTO ?

Not that I have anything against mods, but I suggest you figure out what the problem is with the official HEN to determine what the issue is. If you choose to install GEN-A or CFWe afterwards, then you must use team Typhoon's official ChickHEN R2.

This method has proven to work for myself and others:

ChickHEN R2 Pre-Installation
--------
1. Format Memory Stick using PSP's built in 'Format Memory Stick' tool.
2. Connect USB cable from PC to PSP - Ensure PSP is now in USB mode
3. Rename Folder 'ms0:\MP_ROOT' to 'ms0:\MS_ROOT'
4. Exit USB mode (x or o back)
5. Use 'Restore Default Settings' in PSP 'System Settings' menu.
6. Set WLAN On/Off - HEN can load with it either way. Yours may not.
   Experiment.

All instructions imply that you copy from the ChickHENR2.rar to your
PSP Memorystick. Use the 'PICTURE' folder, including all it's contents,
from either the PHAT or SLIM directory depending on your PSP type.

ChickHEN R2 Installation
--------
1. Copy 'h.bin' to 'Memory Stick root' and 'MS_ROOT':
     -ms0:\h.bin
     -ms0:\MS_ROOT\h.bin
2. Copy 'ChickHEN' folder to 'PICTURE' folder:
     -ms0:\PICTURE\ChicHEN
3. Power off then turn on PSP (Hard reset)
4. Navigate to 'Photo' then down to 'Memory Stick' and open (x or o)
5. Wait for preview to load picture. Then triangle will appear. Open.
6. Hold the directional pad down till you reach the bottom and wait.

Your system will freeze momentarily, then graphics will glitch (sometimes
brown and black, sometimes green). At this point wait untill the system makes
a clean reset. You will not need to touch any buttons during this reset
process. The reset is fairly quick. Next:

7. Navigate the PSP menu to 'System settings>System Information'.
8. Successfull install reads '5.03 ChickHEN R2'.

If not, repeat steps 3-6. You may skip step 3 if you like. I have noticed
that sometimes resetting is not always necessary. Usually the case is reset.

I've got it 6/6 100% sure of it!!, try this..
use the link sinnorf posted on this thread or here the http://www.4shared.com/file/108487751/c978190c/ChickHEN_mod2.html but use the original h.bin of Chick Hen R2 and do this:

1. Format Memory Stick using PSP's built in 'Format Memory Stick' tool.
2. Connect USB cable from PC to PSP
3. put the original h.bin of Chickhen R2 to the memory stick root and put the GIF and TIFF files of the Chick Hen R2 to PICTURE(I've use this one!) or to PSP/PHOTO
4. Exit USB mode.
5. Use 'Restore Default Settings' in PSP 'System Settings' menu.
6. In System Settings go to System Information to view your system version or Firmware!.(I've use this one to help the H.bin access all things on the PSP to load (I think)., because if I don't do this it was just 60-80% success rate!.)
7. Now go to PHOTO --> Chick Hen Folder --> don't wait for the GIF and TIFF to load "just press down" --> and wait for the TIFF there!. --> when the PSP LCD is making a wierd color!, it's not done yet!, and try Press X button!! AND if it reboots check your firmware it must be 5.03 chickhen and DONE
