There is a guide linked within the settings, but it's not recent anymore as the UI and settings have change. I tried to play around for a bit but nothing has changed so far.

Steam recently changed the default privacy settings for all users. This may impact tracking. Ensure your profile has the correct settings by following the guide on our forums.

How do I change PSN privacy settings?

You can change them through the PlayStation website. After logging in go to Account Settings -> Privacy and make sure Gaming History is set to "Everyone"
