PS3 Insomniac Not Planning to Make Single-Player Games Moving Forward

Apparently, some folks really think single-player gaming is finished, and we now see more developers shifting their focus on multiplayer components and online modes. In an interview with GameSpot, Insomniac CEO Ted Price stated the company probably wouldn't make strictly single-player titles in the future.

"I can't imagine that any game we'd do from here on out will be single-player only," said Price.

Sad.... they've never been a studio that have been particularly strong as a multiplayer focused group (In my eyes at least). Their Ratchet & Clank series as a single player experience was awesome. Even Resistance was a better title as a single player title than it was multiplayer.
