First it was exclusive to Gamestop, then suggested to be released a day before the official launch -- and now a whole new release schedule has been announced. However, in the end everyone wins. The Killzone 2 demo was scheduled to be made available for all those who have preordered the game later this week, but it looks like plans have once again changed; even more the demo isn't going to be released only to those in Europe. North American audiences will also be able to get their hands on the demo this Thursday, even those who chose not to preorder the game originally.

The demo, based on the first level named Corinth River, is split into two parts. The first takes you through "Beach Landing" (Helghan's Normandy?) and the second is the "Warehouse." You can also expect the tutorial to help you through each section, as we're sure the gamers who weren't lucky enough to beta the game shall need it.
