Longtime Pikmin aficionados will remember that the original game had some pretty strict time limits, creating an experience that was still fun though certainly a bit hectic. The sequel, Pikmin 2, removed the time limits, and plenty of players praised the game for this new direction. With Pikmin 3, we may see some of the "stress" from the first game return at the behest of producer Shigeru Miyamoto, reports Official Nintendo Magazine.
"When we started creating Pikmin 3 I gathered the main members who worked on Pikmin 2 and talked about how I thought it was important to get back to the basics of Pikmin 1," Shiggy told GamesMaster.
