Gaming Ouya Not Delivering Massive Sales Success for Games

The Ouya's gotten off to quite the slow start since its recent launch. This doesn't appear to be one of those "it'll get better" situations, either. Ya know, the kind Nintendo often boasts and ends up experiencing (just look at the 3DS — things got quite better). Well, it doesn't look that way yet, at least.

According to IGN, most developers who've released content on the Ouya have made between $500 and $6,000.

Forget the comparison to the 3DS, this is a console not handheld. Compare this too the Wii U which Nintendo also boasts it "would get better soon", yet at the rate it is now selling is very lack luster. Both the Ouya and Wii U have alot on their plate to continue to be supported. Yes Nintendo is doing well with the 3DS in reguards to sales, but to comepare it with the Ouya was an unfair comparison as both target different audiences as opposed to the Wii U.

The Wii U is still doing better than the Ouya, and it was doing better within that same time span. Even the Vita, which also got off to a slow start and a ton of negative press, fared much better than the Ouya during its initial period after launch.
