PSN Avatar Not Appearing

Just wondering why my PSN avatar will not appear on my profile (Where you view your trophies). I've trid changing the avatar on my PS3, But I still get the little smily face that says there IS no avatar. Been awhile like this.

Should be sorted now, there was a minor issue with the file permissions preventing avatars from updating properly.
