PSN Games updates

Right, got Joe Danger and Super Stardust HD from the PSN store, both of them need updates. Whenever I go to update them, the machine just crashes. Everything else works perfectly, updates for other games (only tried with disc games), downloads, everything. The games themselves work fine without the update, but it's kinda annoying. Emailed Sony but they want me to call their bloody hotline, I can't deal with that.

Any ideas?

I don't know why they don't preupdate the PSN games.
