Wii U Reggie Says Third-Party Games Look Better Graphically on the Wii U

Is the Wii U more powerful in terms of graphics compared to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3? According to Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime, it certainly is. Then again, he's probably supposed to say that, right? Speaking to CNN, the Nintendo boss and internet meme stated, "If you would do a side-by-side comparison, you would actually see that third-party games like Call of Duty look dramatically better on our system."

Of course, this interview wouldn't be any fun without the CNN reporter asking the Regginator about Microsoft and Sony's next systems.

Seems odd that Nintendo has said for years now that Graphics dont make a system or game, yet now that they're on par, they're screaming it from the rooftops? Will be great to see what spin they give it once the new systems from Sony/MS come out and pack a whallop of more power, graphically.

Funny thing is Black Ops 2 is inferior to the 360 version in many respects, shadow res is lower and FPS dips down to almost unplayable levels when there's a lot going on (~26 FPS according to Digital Foundry). X360 version runs 52 FPS in the same scene.

Not buying a Wii U anytime soon after seeing how gimped it is, if it was slightly better than current-gen systems it'd be worth the money but as it stands it's really worth waiting for a price cut.
