Rock Band 2 Guitar problems

Hey guys, I bought Rock Band 2 for $100 the other day, which was a smokin' deal, imo. I brought it home and the red button needs A LOT of force to be pressed down. I mean, it presses down, but then there is a point where it is recognized by the game, which is much greater then the other buttons and is clearly a problem.

I did a whole lot of googling, but it all comes up with unrelated articles and stuff. Has anyone ever had a problem like this? It sucks bigtime. I will probably just send it in if it isn't a fixable problem.

go to rockband.com and look up the warranty, they should be able to replace it for you for free.
