Samuel L. Jackson and Kelly Hu, voice actors for Afro Samurai/Ninja Ninja and Okiku in the newly released Afro Samurai video game, share their views on the game and the experience in converting it from a TV Show into a video game that people will actually want to play. Jackson and Hu both discuss the game and it's similarities to the animated series, in addition to their desire to keep the game hip, sexy and full of M rated goodness. One of many of the points hit in the interview was the question of whether or not the things that bring in the show's fan base could be ported over so that the game was equally as entertaining and retained the true spirit of the show.
