PSP Savedata problem

Hi!
A friend of mine recently gave me a Final Fantasy:Crisis Core UMD. (he "accidentally" received 3 for his birthday) A few months before I borrowed one from a pal to try the game and managed to get pretty close to the end.I backed up the savedata on my PC just incase if i ever get my hands on the game again.And there it is!But when i pasted the savedata to the psp,the game says there's no data to load :scared:
Any help would be appreciated!

You did put it in the SAVEDATA folder, right?

Does the PSP (in the XMB) report the saves as corrupt?

What FW have the saves been made on, what FW do you have now?

They were on 5.02 and now i have 5.03.The saves aren't corrupt.

Hmm, maybe they are different regions, i.e. one is/was EU and the other one US or such?
