While not much was known about Square Enix's next-gen foray into the world of Hitman, we now know this much: The game's been canceled. As indicated by VideoGamer, LinkedIn profiles of several Square Enix Montreal employees listed the game as a canned project that's no longer in the works.
Reports state that the game would be yet another series reboot.
