Thanks to xbox one, I have a bunch of apps with achievements and various other apps and software programs in steam that I'd rather hide.

It's cluttering up my list, I'd like it to just display games.

Added the Hide option today, just hover over a game or app in your list and click the eye icon.

I might still add a dedicated filter for hiding known apps (as you suggested) but this should do for now :)
