Ubisoft head-honcho Yves Guillemot has revealed that according to the company's internal sales metrics, the number of PC consumers willing to pay for microtransactions in a F2P product is the same as boxed retail titles - around 5-7 to percent due to rampant piracy rates.
While it's not clear how the piracy figure was extrapolated, Ubisoft feels that F2P is the superior approach for PC experiences, at least when it comes to driving revenue.
