PS3 Videos in black and white

Since the 2.50 update, my PS3 only plays the videos in black and white. I'm pretty sure it's because the PS3 is trying to play them at 60 Hz, but my TV is PAL region (50Hz).
The "50 Hz Video Output" does not seem to work.
Any solutions?



PS:Yes, I could play the videos with colours before the update.

Well, I can't help for two reasons: one - I have an NTSC PS3; and two - I'm not updating past 2.1 until they figure out the push buffer for the RSX on firmwares > 2.1.
