New PSP SLIM with 3.71 official

Is there a way to get an alternate firmware onto a brand new psp slim with 3.71 on it? I don't have access to an old psp. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and yes im a n00b.

No luck for yas, matey. Unless you have a friend that has a homebrew-capable PSP.

I doubt they will ever go back to downgraders now that the Pandora Battery exists, man. BUT it is possible, just not likely.

Probably. None of the major teams at least are working on another software downgrade. There isn't much point since Sony can just patch any new exploit the next day with a firmware update.

As for Pandora it can never be blocked via software means.
