PSP upgrading downgrading question

aok this might seem a bit of a daft idea and im pretty new in the psp CF area but im just wonerdering if CF versions can be changed by just copying the flash files of the desired version to the flash folders? dont wana try anythin like that just yet but just curious... :biggrin:

might work but to be honest i doubt it.even if it could be done,it would be extremely risky as there would be a lot of room for error on the user's side.

nope. It also has to change the IPL, registry, and a few other things that you can't just "copy and paste".

so dont be a curious boy and do that! :D
