use this guide you're posting now.
you're in luck to have a 3.60.
now i'd perfer using another memory stick to give it a try, i think your memory stick before is a fake, because these accidents barely occur.

WHAT COULD HAPPEND???
THE BAT COULD DAMAGE OR COULD THE PSP GET DAMAGE???

at worst, the battery will not work anymore. Nothing can happen to the PSP.

What exactly are you writing for mspformat? I think you are writing it wrong. Say if your drive was H, you'd write

mspformat H

Is mspformat.exe located in "C:\documents and settings\Sam"

If not, move the file there or navigate to the folder it is in.

yeah if the battery still works, nothing was changed. Yes you can insert a Sony battery and run OSPBT, no need to re-do the memory stick steps.

so i need to get a 2nd battery "regular" mean the PSP thick one?
thks 4 the fast reply...cheers

Yeah the thick one.

well, after 3.71 M33 is installed, you can go back to using the Slim battery. The regular battery only has to be used for the installation process.
