Analog stick acting weird?

You know, the little weird analog-stick wannabe, just below the directional pad.
It looks like it has been placed oddly on my PSP...

When I'm using it, if I have it in a direction then let go of it, when it snaps back, it seems to be automatically positioned a little bit forward.
This will, for example, make me move forward until I fix it.

This is a big problem for me.
The only way to fix it is to move it, then place it back in it's original position lightly.

What I'd like to know is, can I fix this?

Awesome
CoMbiNa, never give advice again. Software will not fix a PHYSICAL problem.

OP: Try pulling it off and cleaning the connector areas with a q-tip. If your warranty is gone or you just don't care, take off the faceplate so you can clean it better.

rabbit, go kill yourself.

JoySens offers a lot of options for those who can't fix their analog stick.
I know some1 who broke his and it's great for hem.

And you can't tell exactly how to fix it without looking at it, so JoySens is his best solution.

Jesus Christ, can't we all live in peace?

Like rabbit said, unless you're still under warranty period, clean it.
If you're still under warranty, try combina's advice.

Cleaning it won't help, I know some1 who had exactly the same problem

Alright, I just came back and read everything.

I wasn't aware you could just pull off the stick.

Anyway, I lifted it up a bit and then snapped it back on.
It doesn't seem to be sticking anymore.
Weird.

Thanks for the help.
