FF7 "DATA ERROR" ISSUE

I have a 3.90m33-3 CFW PSP SLIM on popsloader..during battles, i keep getting "DATA ERROR" message and does not proceed to battle.. it says that "press L1+R1+select to restart"..any idea's why this occurs?? any workarounds on it?

It sounds like a bad ISO, as I'm fairly sure FFVII works without issue on 3.90 M33-3. I would try re-dumping the game from disc.
