Nintendo has released more than a dozen new screenshots from the Team Ninja-developed <a href="http://exophase.com/wii/metroid-other-m-drops-in-2d-and-3d-glory-on-june-27-13933.htm" target="_blank">2D and 3D hybrid</a> Metroid: Other M, showing off Samus Aran's latest exploits from a variety of different perspectives.
Interestingly, the entire batch of screens were taken at native 720p, a resolution that consumer Wii hardware does not support.* Official word from the company is that "screen captures are taken from a version of the game still in development and are provided at a higher resolution than what is available in game."
