Nintendo silently rolled out a Wii Menu update last night, once again taking a stab at crippling homebrew. Now at version 4.3, the latest system software revision scans for and deletes any files it deems as "unauthorized." Homebrew, of course, falls under that umbrella.<!--more-->

But I was committed after that birthday party...
Well, time to crack the authentication code and add it into homebrew then I guess, huh? With Nintendo's firmware being as seemingly open as it is, faking authentication SHOULD be fairly easy compared to any similar tasks.

<p>I do it for the multi-region capabilities,online quake gx,doom ports,media playback for avi,divx,480p us import playback for cube games,etc...</p>
<p>I can also install my original games to a hdd. therefore improving game performance no end.</p>
<p>My nintendo wii works better than most round here.</p>
