I love all the blue, and I wish I had a desk like that with a computer and my PS3. I prefer that over "entertainment centers" with huge TV's and sofas and shit..

Yeah, via DVI to HDMI. I also have the Optical cable connected to the front I/O of my sound card like you saw in one picture. The sound card then channels it to the speakers. Reason why I didn't channel it directly to the speakers instead is because the soundcard has EQ settings that I made for my music (drum and bass) and makes the sound 2-3x more crisp than the playstation can decode by itself.

Video wise, I vary between 1080p downscaled or just 720p. 1080p downscaled looks extremely good though.

Most of it is the stuff from my over specced media PC (which is now back to the old AMD 64X2 spec that it was before). I have 7k in savings that I was going to spend on a car but I decided to keep my P11 instead so I treated myself to a stupidly expensive case.

Because it's less than half the size of a regular tower PC and fits nicely into a rucksack.

Anywhere I take it I have access to a monitor, mouse and keyboard so I only need to carry the PC and a power cable.
