My pc contains:

ASROCK Penryn1600SLI-110dbl Motherboard
3.00 GHZ(orignally 2.53GHZ) Overclocked intel Dual core processor
4gb Ram

Everything (except the monitor and OS) was bought with my own money.

I guess Serideth did not reinforce my old rules whatsoever...

I'll re-instate them myself in this post because red text will add to its importance.

All words must be followed by a picture to prove its existence. If no pictures are present, then all information will be considered a goddamn lie. In other words, PIX OR GTFO

ended up with this (still messy but now most of the wires can't be seen from front view)

All I need now is an extension to my coaxial satellite cable and I should be set.
Bottom left is where the wire is exposed.

Wow my tv does kinda looks like a smaller ver of yours...

I'm gonna be getting a new tv soon, so I ask this: For gaming - lcd or plasma?

Both are fine for gaming. All new plasma TV's are no longer susceptible to image burn in.

I'll throw some pros and cons out for you though.

Plasma:
Better at producing blacks

Better color reproduction.

Better response times

Can suffer from image retention (not image burn in)

Viewing angles are not as great as they are on a LCD

Ghosting may occur due to abnormal Phosphor mixture

LCD:

Run cooler and are more versatile

No worry of any image retention or burn in

Better viewing angles

Ghosting is common in LCD's

input lag can occur

blacks are not as great as they are on a plasma

Umm....
I don't know what plasma's your looking at, but newer plasma's have a better viewing angle then lcd's.
Ghosting should not occur, and image retention isn't that widespread anymore.

@frenchb0ygenius
go with panasonic, they are pretty much the best plasma wise(besides pioneer), prices are really good too.

I was aiming more at the reflection problem. Even with the new screen coated plasmas, glare is still an annoyance.
Ghosting may not be as common anymore, but phospore trailing still is.

I reccomend plasma. Im getting a Panasonic TH-42PZ80U (42" 1080p baseline 2008 plasma)

If you can, go with the pz85u, it's worth it.

right now the 42" pz85u is on sale for 799.99 on amazon, which is cheaper than the pz80u
