I'd like to play online.. but thankfully such games as LBP (little big planet) are going to keep me amused for hours11!!!

Just noticed that myself...not good at all. Glad I don't have any pertinent information on PSN. Suggest people change there passwords on both PSN and other accounts that have the same or similar passwords just as a precaution

How can we change them with the system offline though? (I mean the PSN pw's)

Does it matter if your card wasn't linked at the time or no?

No idea, Sony hasn't said. I would assume that a CC is removed from their DB when you unlink it, but given how shoddy their system is, it may retain the data and just remove the user association.
