PSP Sony Closing PSP Comic Store Next Month

Sony has announced that it will be closing down its PSP Comic Store on Wednesday, October 30. The digital comic shop, which allowed PSP owners to read comics directly on their handhelds, has failed to receive any updates since July 2011.

After October 30, PSP owners will no longer be able to purchase and download comics.

Seeing as it only ever came out in the states... most of the world isn't going to care.

I thought this was a really cool idea but with the rise of smartphones and tablets, the PSP was definitely not the best platform for comics on the go.
