I did a search for this and couldn't find an answer. I'm trying to install custom firmware on my friends psp, but he has the TA-083 mobo running firmware 3.93. His psp is not running custom firmware at this time and following the guides on here I've been unable to downgrade his system. I tried to do the pandora's battery guide, but when I try to boot the psp into recovery mode it just boots normally. Am I missing something here or is his psp not possible to modify? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
