Publisher Ubisoft has officially announced Assassin's Creed 2, the sequel to 2007's hit stealth-action effort. Along with the announcement comes official word in the way of details, plus a concept art styled shot of Ezio, who takes place of Altair as the game's new assassin.
In development for a span of two years, the follow-up sees players taking on the role of a young noble named Ezio. He embarks on a quest for vengeance after being betrayed by powerful rival families that have an iron grip on much of Italy.
