Holy crap, nostalgia setting in. This is so appropiate with the nearing release of the remakes, and you hit the nail on the head with the Pokemon amount. I remember with the originals you always started seeing the same Pokemon everywhere, but in Gold/Silver it's clearly defined by area. That was always one of my favorite things about it.
 
Gold here as well.
Although Blue before that :P
I loved the way that the whole of Kanto was included in the game after you beat the Johto Elite Four and you even had a chance to fight against Gary and Ash :D
 
I personally played pokemon silver most, i found lugia intense. this is my favourite pokemon game of all time. One mistake in your review though it says you get running shoes which you do not in this generation of pokemon games.

no worries. :D . Im glad there is some use to completing every pokemon game to date. I actually completed the pokedex on this one too i wonder who else did?
