Yah, the PSP's USB port (read "the whole hardware circuitry) is likely not able to be controlled as low-level as required by some running software.

And IF it is, it's very complicated....

Such a shame. I'm sure that the hack will be released on other devices though, so I doubt there's any need to worry.
