this is the version i have , and i can run most games.
but no luck with nba 2008 and a few other. only the preview of the game loads and when i start the game only black screen.
to which version should i upgrade? isnt the fact that i already have a n open edition enough?

Does NBA 2008 require a firmware higher than 3.10? You could try upgrading to a newer custom firmware version, such as 3.52 M33.
 
I'm almost certain it requires newer firmware so do what exo said and upgrade. then try your game should work if not then come back with details as to which firmware it says to update to with UMD in drive where it says auto update

x3...:glare: But yeah, I'm sure NBA '08 takes higher.
 
how do i know which version do i need?
you mentioned to try with a umd in drive....
besides updating to 3.52m33, is there anything else i can do , can i know from the game itself which version it requires?

Well I assume you have the UMD for the game so just pop it into your psp it should begin o load up and you should see 2 icons in your game section in xmb check which it says to update to and there ya go.
