Hello everyone,

A friend of mine installed 3.10 OE-A on my PSP but then didn't want to help me out from there...Now I have read allot of different posts on this forum but I am a bit unsure on what to do to get the latest firmware (3.90 ?) or what I need to play the latest downloaded PSP and PS1 games.

I'm not the most computer sawy person, but I should be able to follow direction on what to do and download.
In advance thanks for any information and help provided, please don't flame :)

In order to upgrade to 3.90 M33 you'll first need to install 3.52 M33:

Once that is installed, upgrade to 3.52 M33-4:

Then install 3.90 M33:

Discussion of downloaded games is not allowed here (check the forum rules) so I can't help you there. There are however various guides in the FAQ forum on how to rip your original PSP UMDs and PSOne games and play them from memory stick.

Ok the good good news is that I managed to update to the latest version, jay! :D

But since I am a bit green on this I am unsure on how to launch the games I have on my memory stick or where to put them. Any help on this would be very much appreciated.
And thanks again for the help provided so I could update! :)

Update: Ok. So I have two games in iso format that I placed in the ISO folder on my memory stick, but when I try to run them I get an error message saying the game cannot run: 80020321 - Ran a game that doesn't support NO-UMD* (DAX FW ONLY!)
But I don't know what that means :(

Put any UMD rips you have in a folder in your memory stick called ISO.

I.E X:/ISO

Thank you that made it work :) If they are not UMD where do I put them then?

Is there any information anywhere I can read up on beside varius posts on the different functions of the 3.90 app so I know how to use different functions, view movies and so on in the future? :)
