3.10 OE Questions

Hi all,

This is my first post (Noob) and I got a few questions with regard to 3.10 OE.

I just sucessfully installed 3.10 OE ....

and now when I go into MS folder I get the following files.

3.10 OEA' Update
Virtual Tennis 3
Corrupted Data
3.10 OE-A Update Maker
Corrupted Data
3.10 OE-A Firmware Install

The question is

1)Can I now delete all the 3.10 files?? and where do I go to delete that?

2)Why am I getting Corrupted Data?

3)I just put the game Cars into the ISO folder and it is not coming up in MS menu, why is this?

4)Should I upgrade to 3.40 OE?

Any help would be great

Thanks

1)No problem deleting it. link the psp via computer with a usb line and then delete the 3.10 OE update files. If you happen to have a card reader, plug the card into the reader,
connect the card reader via computer and delete it.

2)You don't have worry about the corrupted Data. the corrupted data are actually the
310oeflasher% folder and oeupdmaker% folder. it's a form of file for the 1.5 firmware
and later versions. the psp can't "really" tell what that folder is for therefore it says its
corrupted.

3)I'm not really sure about that one. maybe the game is corrupted. make sure the game
file is either ISO, cso or jso, and make sure the end of the file names has .iso, .cso
or .jso.
EDIT: It would be better if you format the MS completely. format it on the psp. when the format is finished all the folders will be made already. Make this into a habit. Always format your MS every time after you've upgraded your psp.

4)Well 3.40OE has newer functions and a few minor bug fixes. and autoboot is working,
which 3.10OE doesn't. if you want to stick with 3.10OE there's no problem.
EDIT: If I were you I would upgrade it, but if you are scared of bricking staying on it is completely fine.

Feel free to ask more questions.

Hi thanks a lot for the quick reply :)

I do have another question..

1) If I reformat my MS can I still play games?, Does the MS not have important files for me to play games? or is that already flashed onto the mobo?

Thanks again for answering my questions

yeah you can format your MS without worry. All important files are stored directly on the PSP's nand flash.
