3.40 OE to 3.71 M33

After reading a bunch of post all over the internet, things started contradicting each other. So can someone tell me a step by step what I should do?
 
First you need to upgrade to 3.52 M33, following this guide: Click Me!!
After you've successfully upgraded to 3.52 M33, download this patch and update to it: Click Me!!
Finally, what you requested, to upgrade to 3.71 M33: Click Me!!
I would recommend you to update this patch: Click Me!!
And patch 1.5 kernel, since the original 3.71 M33 is lack of 1.5 kernel. Go to this page and download the 1.5 Kernel Patcher: Click Me!!

All the things you thought is unnesseccery, it is a MUST.
And next time, please post your thread in the correct section. This one was suppose to go in: PSP Help Center.
But since you're a newbie, I'll let you go this time(well... not really, but if I was a moderator).

Thank you very much, and by the way I joined a little before you. Technically making me your senior. I'm just lazy and wanted someone to give me a step by step since I knew there were so many patches to this.

with the links he gave directs you to 3.71M33.
to get to 3.52M33, just follow up the guide HERE.

using any method can brick, BUT following the steps carefully, and there's only one in a billion of a chance to brick. Relax ;)

Make sure you have placed the 150.PBP file on the root directory of the memory stick, being X:/
