3.40E-A install help

i am tring to upgrade from 3.10e-a to 3.40e-a but cant get it to work . when i Execute the program (3.40 oe-a update maker) to generate the DATA.DXAR file it goes as far as opening 1.50.pbp . cant open file . then it goes back to home screen . it does creat a .dxar file but the size is o kb
 
Are you sure you have the 1.50 update named 150.pbp and the 3.40 update called 340.pbp?
 
Also make sure it's a good file. I just go to gj.net for all of my different downloads mostly.

They have to be 150.pbp and 340.pbp not 1.50.pbp and 3.40.pbp. I express the dot in between the 1 and the 5, and the 3 and the 4.
