3.80 M33 To Be Fully Upgradeable via Network Update

Mathieulh has sent word that the forthcoming 3.80 M33 custom firmware will be fully upgradeable via the PSP's Network Update feature. Meaning, when future updates come out for the custom firmware, users will be able to launch Network Update and go through an automated process to update the firmware -- it'll download all of the necessary files. Of course, you'll need an active WiFi connection.

How cool is that?

It's a feature for upgrades after 3.80 M33. i.e. if 3.80 M33-2 comes out, you will be able to update straight through Network Update.

The firmware will be released soon :) I can't give you a specific date yet.
 
wow , that is awsome .. if I install it on the phat? will it have the 1.5 kernal?
 
nertlinger a word of advise, don't always believe QJ most of the time that place is a rumor mill although in this case it seems to be true as they are reading it from pspgen
