360 360 with odd colors

Hey guys,
My friend has a 360 (an older one from about 2-3 years ago), and i realized that the colors on the thing is very odd. Beforehand it was working fine, but now it no longer shows red or green. Anybody else have this problem?

Well there's a simple way to see what the problem is. Troubleshooting really..

First
Try it on a different TV. If the problem persists, it's either the Xbox or the cables.

Next try a new pair of cables from a friend.
If the problem persists, then it's the Xbox.

I had this problem once. Turns out something was wrong with the Xbox. I didn't care much though. I just went to best buy and got a new one thanks to my warranty.

Make sure the cables are all plugged in properly, this might happen if you plug the wrong cable into the wrong hole (happens often with component since it has 3 different cables/plugs for video). Just check the back of the TV and make sure the colors match up
