Hi all,

I have recently upgraded to the latest firmware and have all games and UMD working but am unable run Homebrew applications. Iget the following message:

The game could not be started. (80020148)

I have tried installing the 150 kernal add on to see if this helps but the instructions state that I have to put in in GAME4XX folder which i dont have. I have attempted it in another folder but get the message saying "Incorrect or inexistent150.pbp at boot

What i am doing wrong?? I have a regular PSP not a slim one!!!

You can read, right?
Have you tried downloading 1.50 EBOOT and puting it in the rott of your memory stick?
 
i had the same problems its an easy fix, save your game saves in a folder to your desktop you will use them later , then after you upgraded to 4.01 reformat you mem stik in the psp using the psp, then go back and add the new 1.50 kernal, then put your emulators and roms back on then your saves back from the folder you made in the begining and it will all work flawlessly
